Have a fantastic Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Warner Bros. have released the first screen shot from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, picturing Harry holding the Marauder's Ma and the infamous Advanced Potions Book. Thanks to /film.

A few updates to let you know of, firstly Casting has been completed on the much-anticipated sixth installment of the Warner Bros. Pictures Harry Potter film franchise, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” The announcement was made by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures, of which David Thewlis will return to play Remus Lupin, for more on the article visit PR-USA.net.

Secondly, the Lost Angeles Time has a very good article on David and his novel on their website, entitled Is his pen mightier than the wand?

Lastly, David was among many authors up for the annual Bad Sex in Fiction Award, for the most awkward description of an intimate encounter prize, given for crude and tasteless sexual depictions in published literature. For full article see BBC News. Unfortunately David was piped to the post by Norman Mailer.

Don't forget that The Street is showing on BBC1 tomorrow at 9:00pm!!! Also Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix is released in the UK on Monday the 12th of November.
